I am preferring this one to the vignetted one, mostly because the tree shadows make very nice leading lines to the water. I think that's where the interest is in this photo.

I would agree with "keithwms". The vignetting shade used looks ackward with no real shape. I see no reason to change from the successful shot that you have posted here.

Agree with keithwmrs and Vincent Brady.... I'll simply comment that scan/inkjet would give you more control and would undoubtedly reveal more interesing details. Wouldn't require fancy scanner.
