Does this speak of decay and the passing of time? The bare tree next to the graves and the emulsion as if fragmenting and fading away? Very effective.

Awty, there are other postings I want to see, but this made me log in. The image seems like one you've posted before (I liked it then), but this treatment looks outstanding. As Svenedin says - each part screams the theme. 'Grand slam in my book.

@Svenedin @HiHoSilver Thanks guys for the encoragement, still working my way into the world of alternative, think it gives me the creativity I desire with photography, just wish I had a bit more control over the process, but that will come with time, need to be patient (talking to my self).....oh yeah, same tree different day and camera 35mm verses 8x10. Also the lens I have doesnt cover 8x10, so missing the corners doesnt matter, just dead space either way.

Love the photo - both the content and the execution. As Svenedin said, it does speak of decay and the passing of time. The ragged upper edges are great. The tone is great too. I would like to see it in real life - I'll bet it is even better.
