This is a false color film: it turns green light into blue, red light into green, and infra-red into red. Any blue light in the original scene gets filtered out by the yellow filter I'm using.
So originally neutral colors like the white clouds and the grayish driftwood remain neutral.
The originally blue sky has all its blue filtered out, but I assume the remaining wavelengths are predominantly green and thus the sky appears blue on the film.
The green vegetation produces enough infra-red to overpower its green color and so it appears red.
Everyone may look at the false colors, which are great. I really like the composition. Great depth, and , love the logs in the foreground. Wish we could still get this film. I have a few rolls left - haven't used any for years.
