Shoeburyness on the Estuary of the River Thames still has many WWII bunkers in case of German invasion. Not as 'Good' as the GERMAN ones BUT the British ones are still here !

If you compare our fortifications to theirs, Pete, It's a good job the Germans never invaded, because theirs are mostly still there because they were all but indestructible.
