On first look, I didn't notice the horiz line - like I get w/ an Epson. But that's pretty far down the impressions - mainly it just a nice composition, insanely well executed. Tones & light just keep me gazing.
Nice scene, good tones as said above. Brings me back to my time spent in Duluth and on the shores of Superior while I'm here in rural NM listening to another thunderstorm blow through the prairie.
I have also gotten weird lines in a few of my scans with my epson scanner, I never really did figure out the cause. I assumed though that a spec of dust or something might have been stuck to the scanner eye that travels across the negative.
This photo is great, the detail is intense. Reminds me of the contrast and detail I get when I use stand development in ordinal.
Even as photogenic as Duluth is, this is a standout. I love the sky. That town was almost made for black and white. Too bad about the scan. Try it again.
