Way upstream, actually my mother grew up on a small farm a mile down stream from here in the 30's and 40's.
Tried to get everything in focus, not too bad. fired the old clunker at 25th so the ducky would be not too blurred. Practiced my zone system, still plenty to burn in.
Location
As above near Samford .
Equipment Used
Graflex View II, Linhof 210mm
Exposure
25th around f11. Spot metered.

8x10 fotospeed rc oyster. 3stop burn in of the top gap, probly needs another stop. As does a few other places, too fiddly on 8x10. Did my best.

'Nice, Awty. For reasons unknown, I usually go low in such a scene also. There's something about the foreground detail that seems to make the scene more tactile.
'Looks like a beautiful place to grow up.

@HiHoSilver Thanks Mr Silver.
One of the benefits of view camera is that you can increase your depth range even when shooting from a high angle. The rear standard was pointing down and the front standard pointing up. The down side is it takes me awhile to get everything right then the light changes and I have to move:pinch:. Originally I wanted to include the sun lighting up the front pond under the water fall, but tooo slow. Guess I can try again. The granite bolders arent going any where soon.
