Dunes Cape Cod

The path was much used, and waiting for it to be empty of people was difficult. I shot 2 negatives, one without people as planned, and this one, where a guy just broke the horizon. I ended up printing this one, as I liked the scale he added. Oils/pencils.

I do wonder if I had stood there and compared an RA4 print with the actual scene whether I might well have decided that Eddie's hand-coloured version wasn't a more accurate replica of the scene, certainly in terms of the foliage and sand
