Great images, but why not get a real person wearing it? Even if you exclude the head.
 
You did a great job with colors on this one.
Honestly I'm not sure it would be as attractive if Bob was modeling the dress :blink:
 
This is beautiful, Bob. I'm glad you chose not to use a model for it. I think the display item is correct for the period of the dress (at least it appears to be) and a living model could change the subject from the dress to the model.
 
Thank you all. In all my series I do not include the human element , the idea of my project is the items that have been used , consumed, given away by all of us.

I try to find a simple item like the manaquien to support the objects, in the Dress Series there are over 50 different dresses so I had three different size supports.

For my Food series I use a simple Scale
I think this allows the viewer to concentrate on the object I am presenting.

Eric - I remember your water picture, if I ever get open ended chaps I am going to ask you to be the support ... cottage cheese and all.
