@HiHoSilver ... There are several dotting central/northern Saskatchewan, that are in rough shape. Some have been saved, some haven't. St. Mary's, luckily, is being well taken care of by the locals. I wish I could be out there, driving around and photographing them, but tricky when I live on the West coast... Hopefully, I can squeeze in a trip this summer...
@mooseontheloose ... actually, that's 15 bites per leg. Prairie skeeters are big suckers, taking way more blood than the skeeters in Japan... as you know, being a Prairie girl!
