Thanks Mac ! The misty mood lasts for about 11 months a year, as these hills are near 4,000 m and receive all the humidity from the Amazon. There is a window
in january, when the skies become crystal clear and deep blue, and those days bring in frost. Photos from the early ´50´s still show these hills with snow.
 
'Never seen the bloom, Peter. They look alot like the Joshua trees in the SW US.
