barn door and ropes

'A fav. type of composition that somewhat depends on crisp detail. As I looked at the thumbnail, I thought - 'hope he nails this w/ his Fuji (very crisp). 'No fuji, but wood & rope texture is all there. Rope arrangements are handsome. 'Must be another weakness for me - like it alot.

I really like the Konica. In the close range, that Hexanon lens is fine - at greater distance (up from 3 or 4 meters) it gets worse.
Not sure it's just the lens or maybe an maladjusted rangefinder. I tried to work on it, but I failed by now.
Furthermore there is a light leak on the edge of every frame, so I have to crop every shot for a few milimeters.
I think I will retire the Konica pretty soon.
