Peter, your backlit leaf shots make me nuts. I love them. Exotic or familiar, they are breathtaking.
 
Thank you H2S ! Ferns are such gratefull photographic subjects that I always enjoy working with. I especially enjoy their transparent leaf edges, when young, as the enhance the edge effect.
 
Hi Peter - this is a great image. Contrast strong and the subject tones are very delicate. What type of fern is this?

@kreeger Thank you for your comments ! This fern is called Nephrolepis, known in English as sword fern, fish-bone fern and the best known species is the Boston fern.
