An image captured using my Holga. I usually shoot with my old stock of Tri-X. I developed the film in Divided D23. I made the print on Ilford's warm tone RC paper. I found an old texture screen in my bag of tricks. So I used it in making the print.
A texture screen (usually 8x10") is placed on the paper and exposure was made through it at various times. This particular screen is made of clear plastic with small black lines in it. These were quite the rage many, many years ago. It really depends on what you think is enough. Sometimes less is more and so on. This one was exposed somewhere around three seconds of a 12 second total exposure. Of course with software like Photoshop this is all done with a click.
