Those ext tubes were a great pick-up for you. 2" did he make these engines? It is pretty cool and photo came out very nice. The dof seems so natural and perfect and lighting perfect.

Lensmagic - 'Metered the deepest shadow at the base w/ Gossen Luna Pro sbc (bought from a member). 'About a 3 stop spread. 'Took the lower 1/3 point's time, raised it to the power of 1.41 (from another's tracing of Ilford reciprocity) and it worked fairly well.

Michael - yes! They've given lots of fun & address my biggest complaint about 3' min. focus most 'blad glass. 'Still getting a feel for dof w/ each, but the result is good so far. The 2x Mutar has proven a worthy toy also.
My father in law was gone before I met the Mrs, which is a shame. 'An engineer w/ a tinker's head & prone to kindness from what I gather from others. 'Made my Mrs unafraid to fire up an engine lathe & make chips fly.

Oh Eric - that has potential!
