A beautiful building, standing like a rocket in the landscape. If any critique at all, I would like a little bit more ground beneath the building by placing the camera lower. You have room enough at the top.
I really like this image - great clouds and light at work here. Reminds me of home, even though our grain elevator got demolished years ago. A quick google search indicates that it might be the one near Ashton, Idaho. Everything looks the same, except yours has a road right to the left of it. Of course, that could be new, this photo is from 2011.
Beautiful detail, really beautiful sky. As an old farm boy, I really love this. I do agree with The Toad Men, I would like to see a little more space at the bottom.
Mooseontheloose shoots & scores -- that tip put me on the right track, and got me thinking about other road trips. A quick e-mail to the Ashton Chamber of Commerce confirmed that the elevator is in Lamont, Idaho, very near Ashton. Thanks everyone, especially Mooseontheloose! Even though it wasn't the trip I thought, the camera info is correct: the 60mm Schneider was my widest lens for years.
