Not really a criticsim, but at first glance I wanted to make those two folds in the cloth into her legs. It's just the type of configuration I'd avoid for future sittings. Nice work, though.

She is absolutely precious and you have every right to be proud. The portrait is wonderful with her adoroble expression. I too looked for her legs, perhaps a little foot peeking from the dress and a much tighter crop. However you have to take what you get from the kiddies and sometimes the trade off on a fabulous pose to a wonderful expression is hard to make. Good job

That's a great picture. Though I'd crop it. The black V at the bottom is distracting. It looks like she's sitting on an elephant's butt.

I've got one of my daughter smiling at 2 months that I have in a 16x20 framed above the couch. I'd get this one blown up large and keep it forever!

Don't you love the point when they can sit up, but not yet crawl?? Too bad it's such a brief moment in their lives! I find the "v" fold a bit distracting, too... but kinda like not seeing her legs! Great portrait.

You are right!! I overlooked the fact that my child's legs are stuck in what appears to be an elephants butt-----very distracting---Hmm! And to think I liked that shot!! The elephant has to go!!
