Canal Spillway & Footbridge

Did a photo walk with Michael Marks (APUGger) and two others in Lambertville, NJ, last Sunday. Freezing temps made it a bit of an environmental test for camera and photographer, but we managed to get something! This is a canal towpath bridge (now a trail) and a spillway regulating the canal depth.

@TrailImages, thanks. Yes it was one of those "did I actually say I was going to do this?" mornings, but I did make some effort to dress for it and survived a couple hours of traipsing around. I think we should try again in late April or so -- who knows, I might even bring a tripod! :D

'Makes me smile, Trail. I was thinking likewise - but that's just how I tend to see stuff. I have more difficulty shooting the whole of a subject than a detail - show in my metal shots.
