Yes it's a great place to take photographs - a few days later I planned a shooting with my better half, wearing some historic costumes but there was no light that day.

Great images! The curves and lines and interplay of shadows in the first one really draws attention. It is a shame the building suffered damage, but nice that it is still proving useful. (Heh,13th C -- one of my observations from travels on your side of the Atlantic is that we in the US have no concept of what the term "old" means when it comes to buildings!)
