Eric, Thank You! I think you're on to something w/ the crop - would serve to concentrate the main subject better. I appreciate it! 'Hope you & yours are well.
That's my kind of landscape. I see a couple of things, that are probably a consequence of the scanning. There is a dark band running along the left side. The other thing is that it looks as if the picture moved to the right hand side while placing the paper on the scanner bed and, as a result, it is tilted to the right.
I appreciate the observations. I see the darker band - will see if its scan or negative. There was some dark spots on the right edge I was trying to crop out, but I want to see if its scan or neg.
'Very much appreciate your kind help.
So many interesting layers of information in a beautifully executed composition.
I'm rather certain the dark band on the left is a scanner artifact. I get it a lot with my POS Epson V700.
Thomas, I sure hope your right. The humble budget allowed only a V600. 'Certainly not best, but processing & scanning fees by a lab was bringing in MF roles at just south of $40/rl. That would torpedo my ability to keep shooting. Getting water to available space for printing is the main holdup there. So for now - all is on the shoestring budget.
'Hard to say enough how much I appreciate all the kind help here.
