I find this frozen moment quite intriguing. There is a definite tension between the two characters: Is he in her daydream--or vice-versa? Is he about to turn towards her, or is he at least thinking of her? Or are they in two totally different worlds? These possibilities raise the situation well above the mundane.

@haclil interesting thoughts! In retrospect I wish I'd stopped down a bit to give the lady more of a chance to tell her side of the story...
