I took this on a cloudy, misty fall day. For those interested. This is one of the locations were a lot of the witchcraft hysteria took place. It was called Old Salem Village then. It's my home town.

It is certainly a strange place when steps and a handrail lead to what appears to be a solid wooden fence :D
 
@pentaxuser You don't see the door? :ninja: It's actually a good size barn. They use it for the visiting center/gift shop. The door was closed because it was out of season. Most of the buildings still have the original framing. It's still like it was during the witchcraft era. There's even a grave yard, for the "witches" :cool:
 
'Love the tones & composition. Focus seems a little soft. Fabulous subject matter.
 
It's a great subject matter for a photograph, well spotted. I would have been inclined to shoot it at right angle to the fence.
