@mooseontheloose thanks! Up there between those massive lakes. I did a street view of Fisher Branch and found the Ukrainian church. I see what you mean about trees! I could only street view from the side, though. Definitely doable. Next time you are there, please take some photos and post them here! The other church looks like the RC church. It's pretty neat looking.

Thanks, kreeger! I was quite lucky with the weather. Saskatchewan was going through a very wet summer that year. Later that evening I got caught driving to my next destination through a thunder storm with hail the size of ping pong balls! I posted the storm shot in my gallery.
This may very well be one of the finest photographs I have ever seen. the steel grey of the sky next to the Russian style church steeples is one of the best compositions I have yet come across. This well executed and the contrast is very captivating for me. Excellent work, Andrew, you are to be congratulated for this fine image, Sir..... Logan
