Colour in winter

It seems to me sometmes the best colour is the most unobtrusive colour. This was taken on a grey day, with rain threatening. It was taken in a marsh like area near where I live, at that time of year where the explosion of life and colour that is Spring hasn't quite happened yet.

I took this to explore the possibilities (and to finish an orphan roll of film, in one of my camera bodies, that still had some Christmas photos on it :)).
