I have one shot detailing the nut - which was much more involved than a straight cotter key - a rather ingenious formed pin that has the center captured under the edge of the point.
Thank you both.
I have alot of images of these crank arms & the tonality was the target. 'Not entirely satisfied here, but its closer than others. Maybe some slow MF film or maybe its not obtainable w/ the indoor lights.
'Preciate your thoughts, Eric.
This, Hiho, is just a terrific photograph. the tones, the angles, the workmanship in the subject, complexities, and technical competence of the film and image. So, so nicely done. Well, maybe it sounds rude put this way, but you revealed you have a shot detailing the nut, so i have been waiting to see that bespoke nut shot, and after nearly two days it seems you are holding your nuts in abeyance.
I'd like just a bit more room at the bottom here.... just a bit too tight for my eye, which, of course, is not the final arbiter.... if this had been done on a 6x6 it would have much easier to get that, so at all events it might not have been possible, I know.... just saying..... Logan
Tony, you make it to Portland & you'll have a humble but comfy place to stay, be well fed & always have an eager audience.
Logan, Thank You. I agree. 'Likely the limitation of the geezerly shooter trying to get low w/out lying on the floor. I ruin alot of clothes getting the low angles. It might even be interesting to have gotten all the way down & shot up from the bottom. I appreciate your kind help.
