Is that the huge park behind the Park Hotel? (Bürgerpark). I stayed there last Summer and had some lovely walks.

Park is Buerger Park and next to it is Stadtwald. And just crossing the Autobahn will reach Blockland(very beautiful indeed).

@cliveh My thoughts as well. It looks like a member of a religious order. I saw this clearly in the thumbnail but did not expect to see it remain so clearly in the full size picture

I don't know what they mean either. I suppose it is possible to imagine a face in the reflective part of the water but other than that...

I presume it is very old Tetenal RC paper.

Actually wanted to lith on that day but grew impatient and printed normally. Got slightly flat tones and oh yeah, now I see the face.

Scary indeed.

It's like any other optical illusion. You either see it so clearly that it dominates the picture or you may not see it at all for a long time then it suddenly becomes clear or you never see it no matter how long or how many times you look.
