The Amtrak line from Washington, D.C. to New York crossing the Susquehanna River at the very top of the Chesapeake Bay. The pylons in the foreground are the subject of the photo - put in ca. 1865 to build a one track span from Perryville to Havre De Grace, MD. Prior, trains were ferried across.

Neither pandering nor patronizing - inspired by you, HiHo, i keep a 35mm in the car now. (love your story - "oh, that old photo? i just snapped it off on the way to pick up a half gal. of milk!") i may also keep the C330 i just picked up in the car. Need to figure out what to do about film in heat now that summer is upon us. Wonder if a cooler would keep some moderation, cooling down in the night and keeping some heat at bay in evenings? I could pad for safety and keep the cameras and film in there.
 
'Big grin, Michael. (best devil's advocate voice) Another strategy for not letting heat to affect film.... is shooting alot of it so none of it is subject to heat for long... :smile: It never fails that when I don't bring a camera, something interesting happens by.
