The open remains of the building bathed in sunlight but with a dark sky especially in the top right gives this a kind of other-worldly look that seems appropriate to the city's tragedy
pentaxuser, other-wordly is precisely how I felt when I made this one. This is probably the only photograph I've taken where know precisely the time I took it. On the print, one can see the hands on the clock, visible through the window on the lower left.

I took some 4x5 IR photos a couple years after this one, on that lovely stuff Kodak used to make. It was Spring and the trees were covered in leaves. It's quite nice, but maybe too pretty. I prefer this one for it's bare-boned look.
