Like this. Lots. Like the barely there but still there background. and the pears of course have lots of individual character. Great image. been trying to cobble together a still life that i could say was my own, but haven't succeeded.

I used the modelling light from the strobe to light it, I wanted to use the flash but the Mamiya only has a 1/60th sync speed and to be honest, I was not confident how it would have turned out.

Nice in all its simplicity - not that I mean this was an easy shot. I would love to see a large print on some baryt warmtone paper. Or even an Albumen print.
