rmann, just the thumbnail hit hard. It looked like it was an artist's illustration - the forms & tones were blazingly clear in just the thumb. Its a bit of a surprise to see a composition that scales so perfectly. Beautiful shot - worthy of any master.
 
Great tones. colours and great sky. What is the colour in the wall? Based on an orange filter it might be blue as I think that anything at the red end of the spectrum would be lighter but I am curious

rmann, love all of your work but these NM images are just wonderful in every way.
 
Thanks - I don't remember what color the wall was painted, I only used black and white film on that trip. I do know I used an orange filter as I kept that on the camera the entire time, except for the few times I tried a red. Loved New Mexico - coming from the East Coast the sky makes a great impression. I think most of the time I was looking for a foreground that the sky would not overwhelm. Bob
