That is a great photo of a rare plant community ! How did you get the trees to glow like that ? They almost look like aspen. The plant in the undergrowth is Macrozamia communis, a beautiful cycad from - never better said - your neck of the woods.
Thanks Peter. The trees have just lost most of their bark, and the trunks are quite white and combined with a cloudy bright day they do seem to glow. This Spotted gum and Burrawang ecosystem is quite unique to this part of our coast. In times gone by, the Indigenous people found a way to treat the otherwise poisonous Burrawang seed/pods to make a paste, which they then cooked like bread.
