14m ?! I wouldn't have guessed it possible. Bravo for getting the shot. Apart from a record of it existing, you did your usual fabulous work. Its really breathtaking to see and to think of. Thx for posting.

What a wonderful tree. Almost anthropomorphic. The middle tree seems to be supporting the one on the right like someone holding an elderly person. I worked in Kenya. Certain tribes believe Baobabs can walk. Goes without saying it's a great photo.

Thank you ! According to Bushman lore, the baobab complained so much to God hat he didn´t have beautiful flowers,
or good tasting fruit or an elegant shape, that God got tired of all the whining, pulled the tree out of the ground and
threw it back, upside-down. And ever since, they look like this !

Hah! That's great, Peter. Thanks for that bit of story w/ the tree. Svenedin also.

Thanks Raphael ! Yes, these trees make amazing subjects. No wonder that early explorers travelled for weeks to see and paint them. Baine's Baobabs are but one example of these famous giants. This - I am sure - is another one.
