HiHo lives in the Portland area and I am in So. OR, just north of the OR/CA border. Still in the NW, but only by a whisker!

Hah! We sure do have a number of similar shots, recently. I have no intention of outgrowing my boyhood fascination w/ trains. If I had to guess, I'd say Gerry has a file w/ ALOT of train shots, as do I. They're fun.

This is terrific. Like Eric and a few others here devoted to train photos, can't get enough. Train rumble on APUG. You and HiHo gonna duke it out on the RR ties? Keep it up, just makes more great stuff going to the gallery!
