Toning Pt 3

Toning Pt 3

Another in the series of toned prints made today. These were shot in November 2004, but this is the first time I have made prints from them. These old buildings seem to have a dignity or pride about them that vandalism seems unable to diminish. They seem to be sitting quietly, knowing that one day they'll be occupied again. This is the rear of the building in Pts 1 and 2.

This is a great shot! The toning works very well and the composition is perfect. Do you have a lot of days with overcast blank sky to contend with? I live in the Pacific Northwest of the US and we have that look most of the time.

During the winter we get a grat many of these overcast days. Maybe I should rephrase that to 'during a normal winter' because this year we have had more clear blue skies than grey!
