Another in the series of toned prints made today. These were shot in November 2004, but this is the first time I have made prints from them. These old buildings seem to have a dignity or pride about them that vandalism seems unable to diminish. These were built by the British Army in the 1850s but have been disused since the early 1980s. I like the remnants of a rose garden still hanging on near the door, makes me wonder who planted and used to tend them, who used to step out of that door in the early morning and in what uniform etc.
