Peter, this is just pure perfection and joy. i love all of your work. Considering all the attributes that apply to a fine black and white print, this excels in every single one. A joy to stare at.

Spectacular, Peter (the onlooking wife thinks so too). 'Everything I love in an image - brutal detail, clarity, tones. Would I be close in guessing multiple light sources? Or all from above, right?

Thank you all for your comments ! Next month I'll print this large, > 16"x20" to see what it looks like - if I find a paper that still shows contrast at that size.

@HiHoSilver Thanks HHS ! Like the rest of my images from that series, they were taken with windowlight and a piece of white cardboard.

What Pentax lens have you used ? 135 mm macro ? And do you have used MLU ?

Mirror Lock Up : if your Pentax 67 is recent enough, you can lock up the mirror before opening the shutter, then reducing vibrations.
Given the very high resolution of your pictures, I wondered if you used it.
