Thanks Tony. Our new family member is getting a lot of admiring comments. I was lucky with this photo. It was the last of 12 frames and the back had been making too much space between frames, so this last frame was only a few mm from the end of the film and when I loaded it in the dark (obviously) I didn't realise the clip was on the actual frame.
I keep coming back to this. I haven't commented until now because I'm trying not to get too attached to your li'l puppy there. Absolutely adorable and so very cuddly looking! This is my favourite of your series of puppy pics.
Thanks for your comments, Molli, cliveh and Trail Images. Our new puppy is giving me an excuse to test new films and developers, so everyone's a winner (as Hot Chocolate once said). I hope we still have a few more sunny days, as I'm pushing the limits of minimum DOF using 100 ISO film.
Kevin, you have at least another full week of 28° - 34° if my weather app is to be believed. My problem is getting the darkroom cool enough to work in. Don't yell at me, but I'm looking forward to winter.
I just finished telling someone their photo of their son made me want to go out and have lots of babies to photograph, but a puppy might be a marginally better idea. After all, in a few years I'd have a dog rather than a person I'd have to remember to pick up from school!
I'm hearing you, Molli. I'm using ice cubes like mad trying to cool down developers, and walking the dog to school to pick up two boys is a lot like having three puppies.
