Retina first shots

I like the color rendition on this. I'm a big fan of Fuji color.On a side note, the grizzled, pockmarked face could serve as a metaphor in a no-smoking campaign!

Hah, just what I was thinking, you could put this on a cigarette packet. How do you like the Retina?

This is my first roll of Fuji print film. 'Started w/ Portra 400, then Ektar 100 (like it). There are 2rls at the lab of the pro 400H - we'll see how that looks. The Retina is pretty good. 'Love the tiny size, though I suspect my size XL hands have more difficulty holding it still. I actually find the Super Ikonta easier to use. This shot told me that if I did my part, it was fully able - in terms of sharpness, etc. There was almost no manipulation at all - it was this sharp & contrasty from the neg.
