Not sure what's inaccurate about that statement. I make 8x10 contact prints with one camera and enlargements with another camera - 2 completely different kinds of photographs. Did I spell something wrong?!!?
I bet the print really sings... I'm sure a lot is lost in those delicate highlights. Beautiful photograph, Scott.
I think Eric means that the sentance sounds like you make the enlargements with the Rollei. I expect you photograph with the Rollei, and make enlargements with... well... an enlarger? Or did I miss something, too?
Ahhh! You're right - I don't make my enlargements with a camera (I'll fix that). I guess I missed that one. Thanks, Eric & Suzanne!
Also appreciate the kind words about the print. This one was a real departure for me. I rarely photograph the sky unless it directly relates to the rest of the picture space. The is also the first time I've attempted to print something high-key like this.
How unusual and otherworldly. That's an am amazingly captivating photograph. I've looked at it on and off for a good while now, and I can't really take my eyes of it.
Thanks for the kind words. I only use APX100 for enlargements, my contact prints (which this is one) have traditionally been made with Efke 100. However, I've had problems with quality control with that film so now I need to find a replacement film for making enlargements and contact prints. Not sure what I'm going to do, but it looks like some testing is in order!
