Semi-stand test #2

Now, this is really cool, from the same roll? Obviously the grain in Fremont wasn't about the development but maybe the exposure? If the grain here was a prominent as in Fremont, it seems to me all that detail in the individual bricks would have been lost or masked. The brickwork just stands out, as it should. And i like the gloss of those tanks on top, very nicely rendered i might add. The crown pattern is a sweet element, too.

Yup, same roll. I'm not sure what it is, but the stand dev. does things w/ rendering metal that just make me goofy. Rich, detailed. I put a link on the bridge shot to one of Greg Heath's shots that sent me over the edge to try the stand methods. One thing that made me want to try it w/ HC-110 was a comment about Rodinol giving a more course/clumped grain. 'Haven't tried, so I don't know, but it seems to do nice things w/ metal w/ HC-110. You can guess how I'll dev in the spring/summer w/ the auto shows. 'Makes me want to reshoot all my old color stuff.
