She is nursing the baby to calm it before a family photo shoot. I was attracted by the fall of light and the expressive little feet. The other shots, with a cousin and others don't thrill me, but I like this. Sorry for the poor scan. The shadows are not blocked up in the print.

This is what photography is about, capturing life as it happens.
 
Even with shadow obscura, what is seen of the expression is powerful. That print has to be really something. As is, its wonderful to look at repeatedly. No doubt for your family, it will be a somewhat iconic treasure. You grabbed a poignant shot of a tender moment.
