Once again, simplicity done so well it ties my perceptions knots. Its beautiful. There's an intrigue for me. The mud looks good, but not inordinately sharp. 'Looks fine, looks good. But the stream and the edge of the stream look so real I can almost smell it - and it makes the surrounding areas seem less sharp, less real. 'Maybe just a coincidence of how the dof plays out, but even in the immediate foreground where the stream becomes slightly soft (moreso on the right than the left), it still projects intensity. 'Don't know if this is just the fevered hallucination on my part, but if there were some deliberate technique that produced this effect - its strong medicine. All machinations aside, its once again a really spectacular image, which is never surprising from your work.
Thanks everyone, for commenting! I didn't trust myself on that little bridge, so I stayed away. My camera was set up right on the edge. Had to be careful, as it was a very crumbly edge... Nothing worse than soaking wet feet!
Hi Rich,It was developed for Carbon transfer, but it will print well in silver. I've made a carbon print from it. It turned out nicely, with very subtle relief.
