upcoming winter storm

I thought I posted a moment back, but it appears I missed a step. 'Nice moody light w/ the incoming weather. I still don't see how the color could be so absent in the water. The trip through your gallery was time very well rewarded.

The photograph was taken at 10.30 a.m with the sun ahead on the left. The sky above and in my back was nearly black. Furthermore,I failed with light metering. Anyway, I like what I've got there.

Most interesting, Fred. I should have that kind of luck when I foul up my metering. You have lovely images - in this one, the others posted & your gallery. Your portraits are full of mood or joy.

It makes me hear the wind, water, seagulls, creaking lines and bumping boats, and feel a bit of a chill. That's awfully hard to do.

@phromaghin : This one was captured on first christmas day - the wind was blowing cold a I have to wear gloves and my bobble cap ... I really love the mood in those fishermen's villages in wintertime - you described this exactly.
