As I mentioned before I'm not really a fan of pictures of someone else's art because it's low hang fruit, but you did an interest job of probably capturing what the artist was trying to achieve. Your sky tones are great and while some might try to do this with a cool set of clouds, you instead did a nice stark and complimentary picture.

'Hadn't thought before how it could also be good background to accentuate a subject. The sculpute is somewhat of a landmark for downtown - like the glass spired tower of the convention center or the White Stag 'welcome to Oregon' sign.

I lived in Portland for a year in around 1992. I lived in the early loft renovation area down on Broadway I think it was. Very cool city, although the moody overcast days got to me.
