Great photograph! I prefer this to the other "Apple" shot. I am rarely a fan of large out of focus elements in an image but it really works well with this one. It creates a great sense of place and depth. Good work! Shawn

I quickly looked at the thumbnail and title and thought Apples, it looks more like a little boy's head! Mind you kids have a habit of getting in the way when you want to shoot apples. Only kidding. Looks superb, especially the light. Keep the neg very secure. When a teenager he will attempt to destroy it in case you show it to any girlfriend. Later as a father and grandfather he will equally desperately need prints to show his kids and grandkids. We're a funny species, we humans

Oh my... thank you all for the kind comments. Well, technically, there's not an apple in this frame, just one of the apples of my eyes. And yep... Parlee Farms. A favorite place to go! BTW, pentaxuser, you've hit the nail on the head. My most important viewers will be his kids.
