Looks like someone found the missing piece of their classic-car masterpiece. Nicely captured.

That's the look I probably had when I found a NOS Carter carburetor for my 1950 Plymouth I was restoring...you done good.

'Appreciate hearing from your both. The descriptive or evocative street or candid portrait looms large in my favorite shots. I'm getting a guided tour of the recycling center (front yard) and it dawns on me I've been obliviously passing up opportunity for that kind of portrait. 'Seems at least to show a bit about the subject. I expect it won't be an easy genre to dive into.

While the picture is okay, I do feel that the face should be sharper and if you had waited until he turned a little more towards you, the impact would be stronger. As it is his face almost blends with the hood of the car.

Vicent, Thank You. Its easy for me to forget I can ask for movement or pose. I'm learning about shooting people. As is (was), I was hurrying to get focus/exposure while I had the moment. You're right about face focus - seems to be on the far edge of depth of field, judging by the near shoulder being a bit sharper. Hearing from you this way helps me remember I can interact w/ the subject to get a better result.
