Where the river bends

Taken in my hometown when testing out Rollei IR 400 film. I used my Xpan camera because as a rangefinder I did not have to remove the filter to focus. I was advised to develop in 1 + 1 to reduce the contrast (But that will have wait until next summer)

Very nice. I'm just starting to use Rollei IR myself but I would argue that you don't need to wait until next summer to try keep shooting with it. I shoot infrared in all seasons - while it's nice to have the wood effect on the leaves, infrared is much more than that. I love how it renders highlights and certain types of subjects, especially old wood. That said, I'm speaking from HIE experience, maybe Rollei will be a little different.

A truly lovely image... I shall return to using my Fuji TX1 again... easier to schlep around than a 4x5.. Logan

Thanks everyone for your comments. I'll take your advice Rachelle and have a go during the winter to see how I'll get on with the IR.
