When I arrived in the dark, I could tell that the morning had some potential. The first sheets I exposed were HP5 since it was so gloomy and I have yet to develop these.
Next up was this shot which shows movement of both the heavy sea and clouds in the force 8 gale which was blowing. Indicated exposure was 1 min at f11, so RVP50 needed an extra stop for reciprocity effect -hence the title.
Once again I deeply appreciate your kind comments. I was immediately drawn to this image when it came out of the processor and it is great to have so many share this enthusiasm.
This has given me the confidence to try this type of image again. However setting up focusing and movements of a view camera in such dark conditions is not ideal. Especially where you need sufficient wind to get the sky to move, but not instigate camera shake.
Just been browsing your work and noticed this, a bit late on I know. Dancing ledge is a real childhood memory; each summer we would holiday on the coast and visit the ledge, swimming in a large rockpool around the corner. Very scerene.
