What is the subject here? My guess is it's the sitting person. If you agree, would you consider abandoning everything above the column's capitals? I think this would be a lot stronger that way.

Agree, I do love the steps leading your eye in, and the arches that echo these....plus the figure adds to it....but I would lose the sky.

Thank you for this feedback, both!So I made 2 new versions: 1 cropping just above the column's capitals, and 1 cropping just above the arches. I think I prefer the latter one, as the arches echo the curves in the steps and the shadows on the ground.Is there a way I could include this modified photo in this comment, to show you? Or should I just upload a new photo in the gallery?Sorry, I'm still rather new to this forum so I'm not that familiar yet with the technicalities.
