i find it amazing that this was shot in your backyard/greenhouse; everything about the lighting says "studio" to me (which means it is lit, in my book, perfectly). i love the sharpness and the tones, too.

Thank you ! Photographing these plants is a lot of fun, since in many species the lid and the pitcher's neck are translucent and brightly coloured, to guide insects towards them. Good windowlight, a piece of black cardboard and the possibility of moving them arouond until you got the right angle, allows for some stunning images.
