very nice 4 color gum print. Last 2 years I have faded form palatinum and 4 color gum prints in fact all of photography. and prints like this are getting me more into doing it again.
Thanks to both Michaels and to John. This is made from a single B&W neg, not 4 separation negs. I've done some 3 and 4 colour gums with digital separation negs, posted on DPUG, but I got very tired of fighting with the computer. I really enjoy playing with colours - though it doesn't always work out as I planned. John, the texture is emphasized by the scanner. It's not so obvious in the hand. I'll print other processes on smoother paper, but Fabriano Artistico is my favourite for gum - it holds up so well to the multiple, sometimes lengthy, soakings needed for gum.
